Where is God when it hurts? 

At 37, after two rounds of IVF that failed miserably, Emma Nash had to face the fact that she would never have a baby. She wrote her book, ‘A Pastoral Theology of Childlessness’, to process her loss and to start making her peace with a God who had apparently given others their miracle babies, but denied her this blessing. In her talk, Emma will offer some attempts to answer the question, where is God when everything goes wrong? And how might we draw close to God?
